The Civil War Preservation Trust is the largest non-profit devoted to the preservation of America’s endangered Civil War battlefields. The CWPT works to preserve the tangible remains of our Civil War heritage, the battlefields, which are disappearing at a rate of one acre every ten minutes, lost to the strip malls, fast food restaurants and parking lots of urban sprawl.
